What to do in Forno?
The village is very small and laid on a basin aside of the main route of the valley.
There are 300 inhabitants and 100 cars.
There is the Strona river where you can play with the water and the rocks, get a suntan and also get a swim when the season is particularly warm.
There is the village square, where you can play hide-and-seek.
There is a small amusement park.
On Thursdays, you can take the bus to go to the fleas market in Omegna.
There is the Sacred Art museum, with its treasures from the past centuries.
There is Guerrino’s Museum, which tells the history of the birth of the wood items manufactury industry handcraft manufacturing in the valley.
And then there are dozens of tracks to discover the mountains by walking of or mountain-biking:
the range is from simple walks accessible at all ages, to more challenging tracks on the peak of the mountain.
